We all know that when we are less able to get out and about loneliness can often set in, especially as we grow older. The feeling that no one really cares can then become a desperate problem for many people.
One of our goals is to bring fulfilment and happiness to those living at home and ease the loneliness that ageing seems to cause by providing a range of quality support services, from something as simple as companionship, helping reading the morning paper with a nice hot cup of tea to more critical assistance with personal care.
Our Social Companionship service is most suited to individuals who will benefit from having the reassurance that someone is there with them to offer support when it is needed. It also provides peace of mind for family members who are unable to regularly visit, as they know their loved one is being cared for.
Our homecarers, who are carefully selected, will provide company and conversation, as well as providing support with social activities. Your service is tailored to your requirements and can be adapted to meet your changing needs. We will also arrange for you to meet your homecarer before your care package commences to ensure that you are happy with our selection.
